Student Membership

DISCOVER YOUR POTENTIAL WITH TIDEWATER LEAD

How to Join?

To become a member, simply complete our straightforward online application process:


  1. Complete Membership Application & Dues
  2. Download, sign, and email the required Membership Agreement to membership@tidewaterlead.org
  3. Upon receipt of the above items, you will be considered a member in good standing, which provides you access to our Programs and an e-membership card.


Annual membership dues are just $25 per academic year (September 1 - August 31)


At Tidewater LEAD, we believe in upholding a high standard of ethical behavior and conduct. By joining our organization, you agree to adhere to our code of ethics and behavior, which includes demonstrating respect for others, practicing honesty and integrity, and upholding the values of leadership, excellence, and development. Together, we can create a supportive and empowering community where all members can thrive.

Who Can Join?

We welcome all teens (7th-12th grades), regardless of whether they attend public, private, or virtual school, or are homeschooled, to join our dynamic community of emerging leaders. 


While our in-person events are located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, we welcome members nationwide (including military youth stationed overseas) who would like to participate and receive support virtually.

Welcome to Tidewater LEAD!

We're on a mission to equip teens with the skills and knowledge to become successful leaders. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we're dedicated to nurturing the potential of our youth for a brighter, more promising future. 

WHAT?

We educate and empower the leaders of tomorrow through our flagship student leadership conference. We also offer mentorship, hands-on leadership experiences,  educational workshops, leadership-focused competitive events, community connections, and valuable resume-building experiences for our students.
