2026 Hampton Roads Teen Leadership Conference

During this dynamic conference, teens will come together to learn, grow, and support each other on their unique leadership journeys.

By participating in engaging hands-on activities, contributing within small group experiences, and learning from leadership mentors, teens will discover their values as leaders, hone their communication and teamwork skills, and develop empowering goals for their future. Participants will also learn about ethical decision making, managing conflict, and community engagement through service.

Eligibility: 

• High school students ages 13-18 (grades 9-12)

When: 

• Monday , July 20 - Wednesday, July 22 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Where: 

• Chesapeake Central Library (298 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA)

Cost: 

• Priority registration is $75 for applications received by May 1
• Late registration is $100 (applications received May 2 or later)

The conference registration fee is considered a tax-deductible donation. Need-based scholarships are available. 

Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the event and commit to attending all three days.
