Welcome to Tidewater LEAD, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing tomorrow's leaders through our focus on Leadership, Education, and Development. We firmly believe that investing in our teens today will shape a brighter, more promising tomorrow for all.
Tidewater LEAD provides a supportive environment for teenagers to learn essential leadership and communication skills, and gain the knowledge necessary for success in their future endeavors.
Our Mission
Tidewater LEAD was born from the belief that every young person deserves access to quality leadership development opportunities. Our organization was founded to provide a unique space for all teens to experience personal growth and leadership development. Whether a teen attends public school, private school, are homeschooled, part of a virtual school program, or is military-connected stationed overseas, all are welcome.
We believe that by providing inclusive and accessible opportunities, we can inspire our teens to realize their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.
Personal and Professional Development
At Tidewater LEAD, we empower students through leadership education. Our programs serve as platforms for students to develop their leadership acumen through mentorship, education, and hands-on leadership experiences, as well as opportunities to demonstrate their abilities and hone their skills through competitive events.
